In reading the Australian Financial Review there was a fascinating article on the research habits of Australian retail investors.

"Eleven percent said what they found online influences their investment descisions, forty-one percent said electronic communications became more important."

Clearly the conclusion is to maintain, develop and maximise shareholder and investor interest public companies must develop and execute an online engagement strategy.
